Seattle had a few things going on this past weekend (Taylor Swift, Mariners, Storm, Capitol Hill Block Party to name a few) so it was nice to enjoy some relative peace on the lake.
The EPA says “phosphogypsum remains prohibited from use in road construction,” as it has been almost continuously for more than 30 years.
Under former President Donald Trump, the EPA briefly rescinded that policy starting in October 2020. But it reinstated the rule in June 2021.
If recent history is any indication, in 2024, Florida will go for the presidential candidate whose EPA was cool with radioactive roads.
For the party that claims to be pro-life, yet another example of how they really do not give a 💩 about life.

Began binge-ing this over the weekend. If you loved Season 1, Season 2 is as good but a very different vibe. Tho, wait until the Xmas episode. Absolute bonkers.

SK was my favorite writer as a teen. Salems Lot was probably the scariest book I’d ever read. Loved the Stand (unabridged) and just about everything he wrote.
